šŸš«Stress: That Undetected Pesky Factor of Health…

Stress is known as the silent killer for a reason and that’s due to the fact many don’t realize how detrimental it can be on them, their loved ones and what stress can do to your health. It’s all around us and hard to escape at times, but reducing what we stress about could be life saving! For me and I’m still learning not stress certain things, because unfortunately…we can not control every aspect of life. I know, I would like to be able to do this too (you know control every aspect of my life), but life happens and stressing over things that’s out of our control only make things worst and takes a toll on our health.

Work, families, relationships…LIFE in general all are contributors of stress. And let say that you’re not alone and that many people have these same factors in their life. So, to how to make life a less stressful? Well finances is usually at the top of the stress list and another big factor that cause unnecessary stress. Bills and responsibilities…yes those pesky things and many of us have them too, so join the club and know you’re not alone. Now having bills don’t always have to be as stressful and when we learn to have our bills be less than what we bring in…that eliminate a lot of stress in it self. Bills should never be more than your “take home” income and if they are its time to re-evaluate things. Cutting back may not be what many want to do, but which is more important that extra unnecessary bill(s) or your peace of mind? I vote for having to stress less and a mind that is at ease.

Each household is different, so I can’t say what should stay and what needs to go for your life to be more peaceful…only you know how your wallet looks. I will however suggest taking time to write down all your bills and then looking at them to start the process of elimination. Oh yeas you can control what bills you have coming in, so grab a pen and paper and start to reevaluate things. Having extra money has never been a bad thing, so if it will bring you peace of mind and a few extra dollars I say do what’s needed to be done to help you stress less! Speaking of extra money my next blog will be on ways to make some much needed extra cash.

Then there’s the outside of your regular life stresses. Yes sometimes stress is all around us, but the key to stress is knowing what not to stress over. Work stress is another major factor that often invade our personal space and our inner peace. It can be hard I get it, but work is exactly that work and when you leave work…leave all of the work stress there too. Bringing your work home, or allowing the stresses of the day to eat away at you will only add to making your outside life more stressful. Again any of us need to work, so do your job with all the crazy things that may cone with and then when its time to leave work…leave work at work.

Unhealthy relationships are another factor of stress. These can be any types of relationships that’s not playing a positive roll in your life. If you have it stressing you out and not being productive…why are you allowing it to stress you? Knowing when to let go of what’s not good to or forvus is hard for many, but as I mentioned earlier stress plays a huge role on not only our mental. ..it also plays a huge role on our health. So, if you find any relationship that is becoming a toll on you it could be time to let it go.

The good thing about letting go of the stressful unhealthy relationships is that…you learn what you don’t want and then your able to build new healthy ones. Again any relationship that’s stressing you reevaluate whether or not if it’s necessary. Your overall health is why your making these necessary changes.

These were just some of the major causes of stress and I’m not saying that stress at some point won’t happen after making these changes, but changing what you’re stressing over now may help your health. Remember we’re on a new journey of a healthy lifestyle, so change will need to happen. I hope this blog was helpful and if you found it informative please share.
